Secure Office documents without passwords

Office documents can be made secure without the need to use a password. It seems like an oxymoron: securing documents but NOT using a password however it is true.

Information Rights Management (IRM) is a technology built into Office 2007/2010 (and also available for Office 2003) which allows you to both encrypt documents and provide varying levels of access for different users or groups, all without the need to enter a password.
